I wanted to give you guys a bit of a bonus build this week. Usually I will only do a single build video in a week but I really wanted to share this. This is one of my own personal gaming rig and I wanted to show you what kind of hardware I use in my own lets call them Production PCs
In this video I’m going to build my own overpowered gaming machine because I can. Cooler Master sent us their brand new MasterBox MB530P so I wanted to use it for something truly special. Well special to me.
Okay lets kick it off by talking about your favourite part, the parts. The motherboard were using for this build is the ASUS TUF Z370 Gaming Plus. I got told in the comments section that I call everything a monster or a beast. Thats not true because THIS BOARD IS A WEAPON. We did a video about this board you can watch that in the top right hand corner right now.
The GPU were using the new MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Gaming X Trio. I am blown away by how good this card is. On average it out performs some of the other RTX 2080 cards weve tested by around 5 percent. We did a video looking at how well it performs, you can check that out in the top right hand corner right now
The CPU were using for this build is the Intel i7 8700K. I know we dont do heaps of intel stuff right now but I do use them. So if you think were all AMD, Youre wrong. The 8700K is probably one of the best gaming cpus out right now, because this is a gaming machine, it makes the most sense to use it.
To cool the 8700k you need something pretty impressive thats why were using the Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360R. Its a 360mm AIO that is astonishing good at cooling.
The RAM were using is 32GB of Gskill Trident Z RGB clocked at 3200MHz. Its the perfect amount of memory for the other things Ill be using this system for.
Last but not least is the case. Its the brand Cooler Master MB530P. Its got 3 included RGB fans up front and has really good airflow. Dont let that glass front fool you. It is very capable so dont ask about it in the comments. Right building time
This is the same motherboard cpu and cooler combo ive been using for all of our GPU testing and it seriously is a very impressive pc. But lets talk about that brand new case.
I love this case. Seriously cooler master knocked it out of the park. The backside glass panel didnt even annoy me because the cable management on the case is well perfect. Its super easy to make it clean with the included panel and the basement part of the glass is obscured with the hexagon pattern which not only looks cool but is functional too.
Overall I love the aesthetic of the MB530P and I wont be changing it for quite a while.
